Getting this award just a few weeks away from launching our Inkslinger software platform is a huge validation of everything we’re doing. On June 17 th Foreword Reviews announced that Inkslinger – 99-Day Guided Writing Experience had won the Bronze Award in the Reference category for the Foreword Review INDIES Awards. Focus groups and a sneak peek early this year told us that the product was the right answer, but the response to the Inkslinger – 99-Day Guided Writing Experience book told us we not only found the right solution but that it connected with our target audience. There are a thousand smaller steps that go into each one of the above-listed major steps, but one of the biggies is to make sure that the product is the right solution to solve the problem. Dance with celebratory glee – Immediately after launch (Got my shoes picked out!) We are a boutique creative media agency dedicated to the written word in all forms.Come up with a product to solve the problem – CHECK!.The excitement is almost unbearable! Without going into too much detail, the highlights of the plan are: Publishing the book was part of our development and launch strategy which is still ongoing but coming to its zenith, as we launch the platform next month.

They validated that we’d hit the mark on our mission of defining a need in the writing community by not only providing a solution but doing it in such a way that it provided hope and excitement-otherwise known as inspiration. Even the few critical reviews were affirming in their own ways. Reviews for the book repeatedly told us that we’d provided a resource the reader was looking for and that it had inspired the reader to write their own story. The response to it was better than we ever expected. The book is the written form of the first version of the software, and it represents what the Inkslinger software is intended to do: Guide and Inspire writers.
